“What a fantastic holiday cottage to come to. The welcome package was gratefully received. Jonathan the owner, is a warm and friendly person and is always at hand for any help required. There are lots to do and see in the local areas. Local pub in worth a visit (Tavistock Arms). It has been a wet weeks, but we took the kids to Trethorne Leisure Park. There is plenty to do there, so we have been a few times this weeks. We also went to Countryman Cider traditional cider makers, it was free to look around, and the cider was very good. Hope to be back soon”. From Barton Family

“What a lovely welcome, we felt at home with the well stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds, just wish home looked like Cornwall. We would love to come back one day. Love and Best Wishes.” Clive and Jan Happer and Evelyn Grice.

“Many thanks for the 'Welcome' home-made goodies and wine - A most pleasant surprise. The cottage is very well - equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean in a good location. We have visited five N.T properties of which Cotehele and Lanhydrock gave most pleasure. The cottage garden and lost gardens of Helligan were most enjoyable. Also visited Tintagel, Boscastle Pasdstow(superb shellfish), Polperro and Looe. Weather was superb for the whole week.” Sue & Pete

“Thank you for a lovely welcome. The cottage is fabulous, comfortable and just like home. Charlotte (aged 2) was so excited. Very relaxing time here. We will be booking again for next year.”The Hall Family

“The cider press is delightful, cosy and luxurious with welcoming fresh flowers and home scones and bread. A lovely surprise when we arrived. With 4 children the barn offered plenty of space for us and a wonderful base for us to enjoy the aquarium Plymouth, well worth a visit, Trevorne Park working farm with animals and wide play areas etc. We visited Newquay, Padstow, small, quaint fishing village. The Eden project was wonderful even in February. We painted pottery in Presingolll barn and made candles which the children really enjoyed. Pavillion pool in Plymouth was a lovely indoor pool for the children. Thank you for a lovely place to stay.” Eldridge & Kingdom families.

“We had a fantastic week holiday in the Cider Press Cottage. The weather was glorious all week! We have been to a few cottages but this one is by far the best ever had everything you could possibly need in it and was lovely. Welcome pack was gratefully received. Enjoyed days out at the Eden Project, Paignton Zoo (highly recommended) Tintagel Castle (be prepared for very steep hills and lots of steps) Widemouth Bay near Bude - lovely beach. Plenty to do! We would defiantly come back again and tell our friends about it.” Kirsty, Colin and Lauren (Hartlepool) Sharon, Steve and Grace (Hitchin)

“We have had a wonderful relaxing weekend though we wish we were here for a week. One of the best cottages we have stayed in prefect wheelchair facilities. We will recommend to other in Wales. “Nina Robinson and Kay Jenkins

“May. Our second visit. Everything as lovely as the first time. The cream tea and homemade bread on arrival were gorgeous. Give the National Trust Tea Rooms at Saltram and Anthony a try, both excellent. One thing to improve the weather (if only we could)” John and Maria Lucay
